Tips
Tomato Sourness
Tomato is widely used as an ingredient in Portuguese cooking. However some people
don’t appreciate his characteristic sour taste mainly when cooked in sauces or
stews.
In order to lower the sourness we can add during the preparation of
the dish a tea spoon of sugar.
Baked Apples
Baked apples are a much appreciated dessert in Portugal. During baked sometimes append that they fall apart. In order to prevent this small cuts from top to bottom should be performed. One single horizontal cut could also be done. This way the fruit will kept his original shape after baked and will be served with a much better presentation.
We will keep posting new small food tips for all the people who love the Portuguese food.
